Hey there! My name is Ari Catherine and I’m a co-founder of Purple Haze Magazine! I come from a large family, most of which are musically inclined one way or another. I play bass guitar and dabble in all sorts of percussion instruments. I have 8+ pets, one being my very own pup. I started photography at shows in 2021 and have never looked back. taking still moments of life living is something I love to do, the emotion is so raw that you can feel it even through the photo. I grew up on older rock, so my fav artists are going to have to be Metallica, Greta Van Fleet, The Beatles, and Queen!

Hey there! I'm Sam, and am based in lowa City, lowa. I've been into photography since I was 14, but my love for music and concerts goes way back. I recently decided to combine both passions and got into concert photography. I absolutely adore capturing the raw energy of live music.

Hey, I’m Emily! I’ve been a photographer for 7 years now and am based in Texas. It has always been of dream of mine to pursue concert photography, so I began shooting local shows in early 2023. Music has always held a large space in my heart and concerts are such a safe space to me. I love the idea that music has the ability to bring people together and inspire us in different ways. I’ve been a sports photographer for Texas A&M and have a Bachelor’s in Psychology, but now I spend my time as the Lead Photographer at a marketing agency. Howdy! I’m Carrie, and I’m based in the greater NYC area. I’m going on almost 5 years now since my first gig as a concert photographer and have since shot anywhere from small bars to sold out arena shows. When I’m not behind the lens, I love to go on walks, eat my way through the city, and scavenge funky vintage shops to add to my ever-growing collection of old film cameras. I grew up on a farm and thus developed an immense love for the natural world and all its little creatures. I draw most of my creative influences from artists all over the board: John Denver, The White Stripes, The Velvet Underground, Florence + The Machine, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Fleetwood Mac to name a few.

Daring to chase my dreams I turned photography from a pastime into a profession in 2022. My main focus is concerts and festivals. Combining my love of music and its healing, meditative properties, with photography. Driven by my sense of adventure, I've since seen amazing places, met wonderful people, and had magical experiences, and I'm only just getting started! Inspired by the beauty of the world around us, and activism, I also photograph nature. Including some of the USA's beautiful National Parks. And in contrast, cityscapes and street photography.
